Hunkemöller, the market leader in lingerie, is setting its sights this year again on expansion abroad. Shops have been opened in Norway and Poland, as well as the first four shops in the Russian capital, Moscow.

Last year, the Dutch lingerie chain, Hunkemöller, opened over 100 shops with great success, including the first shops in Switzerland. The growth meant an increase in customers, which led to the decision to continue the strategy of internationalisation in the coming years. Hunkemöller opened its first four branches in Moscow in August. According to expectations, another three shops in the same city will open this year, bringing the total to seven in 2018. In the Netherlands, too, a shop was recently opened in what is for Hunkemöller the strategically very important location of Schiphol. The shop is situated at a great location where travellers from all over the world will come into contact with the brand.

Hunkemöller is thus increasing its international growth with the aim of improving its service to customers and marketing its unique concept as widely as possible, regarding both range and presentation. Hunkemöller’s policy in this is to respond to local demand and to differentiate with its bra-fit and service.
